After serving ,Rusty came home(back to Michigan)for a visit.My son Shane had seen him in his uniform(he was 8 yrs,old)and he was full of curiosity.Shane even told his teacher about the soldier.She contacted me and asked if I thought he would talk to the kids about what being a soldier was all about.So I called Rusty and he agreed to do it.Rusty showed up in his dress blues,he gave the kids his spin on being an American soldier.What he thought was going to be a class room of my sons classmates ,turned out to be Charlotte,Michigans Middle school auditorium ,Full of kids LOL you should have seen the look on his face.Thank you Rusty,rest in peace friend.Bob and Kathy,Shane Main of Virginia.
