Life Story for Margaret Carroll (Pennington)

Margaret Carroll

Mrs. Margaret Carroll, age 76 of Nashville, joined hands with her husband Leo in eternity with her beloved family at her side.

Margaret was born in Nashville, Michigan on September 18, 1940, the daughter of the late Clyde and Eva (Boise) Pennington. She was raised in the Nashville area and attended local schools, graduating from W.K. Kellogg High School 1959.

She was the widow of Leo Carroll. The couple was married on Feb. 21, 1959 and made their home together in the Nashville area where they raised their family together. Margaret was very proud of her home and took great enjoyment in tending to the needs of her family as they grew. She enjoyed working outside on the farm ensuring that it always looked impeccable. Leo & Margaret had celebrated over 46 years of marriage when Leo passed away in 2006.

Margaret, enjoyed playing cards with her friends on Monday, Shopping with her friends, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and doing arts and crafts.

Margaret is survived by her three daughters, Jeanette (Doug) Aspinall, Jackie (Duane) Collier, Julie (David) Brooks, her son, Jimmy Carroll, sister, Marilyn (Russ) Misner, 6 Grand Children and 7 Great Grand children

She was preceded in death by her husband Leo, and her brother Albert Curtis.

A celebration of Margaret's life will held at 4 PM on Friday January 20, 2017 at the Daniels Funeral Home in Nashville with Reverend George Crawford officiating.

The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service beginning at 3 PM at the Daniels Funeral Home in Nashville.

There will be a time of fellowship and luncheon at Main Street Banquet (310 Main Street, Nashville) immediately following the celebration service.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
