Carol Tomlinson

Mrs. Carol Tomlinson,age 80, of Nashville passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at
her home, with her family at her side.

Carol was born in Lansing, MI on August 9, 1936, the daughter of the late Clarence Hendershott.

Carol spent over 23 years as a line operator at Oldsmobile in Lansing, MI before taking an early retirement over 20 years ago. Carol enjoyed being home with her family and loved her church family at Nashville Baptist Church. She moved her family from Greenville, to Nashville to be closer to church. Carol was a dedicated church worker, and for the past few years, she would open the church, tending to the heat & lights well before anyone else arrived. She also enjoyed working in the nursery, and anywhere else she was needed.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Karen Wells, four sons Nicholas (Mildred) Wells, Neil (Julie) Wells, Dennis (Shiela) Wells, Anthony (Linda) Wells, two brothers, Raymond Hendershot, Charlie Hendershot, 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her infant sisters, her brothers Clarence & Larry Hendershot

A memorial service will be held at The Nashville Baptist Church, Nashville, MI, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 15th, with Pastor Lester DeGroot officiating. There will be a time of refreshment and luncheon immediately following the service at the Nashville Baptist Church.

Interment will take place privately.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Nashville Center for Hope or Heartland Hospice.
