Mary A Trumble

Mrs. Mary A Trumble, age 79, of Vermontville passed away Sunday, September 27th, 2015 at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI.

Mary was born in Lake Odessa , MI on October 16, 1935, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Florence (Cave) Bulling.

Mary was raised in the Vermontville area and attended local schools graduating from Vermontville High School in 1953.

She was the widow of Mr. Stan Trumble. The couple was married February 5, 1955. They made their home in the Vermontville area where they raised their family together. Mary worked for a short time cooking for the Maple Valley Schools before Joining her husband in 1972 as the office manager for the Trumble Agency. She worked faithfully in the family business before retiring in 2000.

Mary enjoyed golfing, visiting the casinos, and traveling with her family. Throughout the years she has been all over the United State including Wyoming, Kentucky, and Colorado, During the winter months she and her family enjoyed spending time in Northern Michigan downhill skiing at the Bear Mountain Ski Resort in Grayling MI.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Terresa (Douglas) Jones, three sons Fredrick (Janis) Trumble, Stewart Trumble, Ken (Debbie) Trumble, her sister, Marlene Smith 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband Stan in 2010.

Funeral Services will be held at The Daniels Funeral Home, Nashville, MI, at 4 PM on Saturday, October 3rd, with Pastor Ben Ridder officiating.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday prior to the funeral service from 2-4 PM at The Daniels Funeral Home in Nashville.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Maple Valley Scholarship Fund or Eaton Community Hospice.
