Gerald LeRoy "Jerry" Sixberry

Mr. Gerald LeRoy Sixberry, age 75, of Nashville passed away Thursday, August 20th, 2015 at Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus, in Grand Rapids, MI.

Gerald was born in Orangeville, MI on December 28, 1939, the son of the late Lloyd and Donna (Keller) Sixberry. He was raised in the Nashville area and attended local schools graduating from Nashville High School in 1958.

In 1963 Gerald joined the United State Army. After serving two years he was Honorably discharged in 1965.

Gerald worked at Post Cereal in Battle Creek, MI for 38 years before retiring in 1995. He also enjoyed working his family farm.

Spending time outdoors working on the farm, fishing and spending time with his family and grandchildren was always a source of great joy for Gerald.

Gerald is survived by his beloved wife Bev, his daughter, Brenda (Brian) Bagwell, two sisters, Mary Lou Harp, Dawn Sixberry, brothers David Sixberry & Gordon Sixberry, and his grandchildren Bailey & Bryce Bagwell. He was preceded in death by his brother Maynard Sixberry

Memorial Service will be held at The Daniels Funeral Home, Nashville, MI, at 6 PM on Monday, August 24th, with Nick Harp officiating.

The family will receive visitors from 4-6 PM on August 24th at the Daniels Funeral Home in Nashville.
