Jena Renae Peters

Ms. Jena Renae Peters age 29, of Hastings, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 13th, 2014 at her mother's home.

Jena was born in Jackson, MI on July 21, 1984, the daughter of Jeffrey Stewart and Suzanne (Peters) Welch.

She was raised in the Hastings and loved spending time at the families home. Jena attended local schools and Graduated for Maple Valley High School in 2003.

Jenna enjoyed swimming, spending time with her friends and socializing. She enjoyed a good meal and writing poetry.

She is survived by her beloved daughter Zariah who was born on December 6, 2013. Her mother Suzanne Welch, Step father Eldon Welch, who raised Jenna since she was a young girl, father Jeffrey Stewart, her siblings, Kyle Stewart, Kristin (Mike) Stewart-Spencer, Kari Stewart, Michelle Russell, Kory Stewart, two step sisters, Sheri (Andy) Moser, Brenda (Jeff) Johnson, two step brothers, Lee (Dawn) Welch, James (Vickie) Welch

Memorial Service will be held at The Daniels Funeral Home, Nashville, MI, from 1-3PM on Saturday, June 21st, with Pastor Gary Newton officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contribution be made directly to the family for the care of Jena's daughter Zariah.
